I love Brugge, maybe for the same reason as my couples who ask me to shoot there. This is also the place from Dries comes from, so the choice of their engagement shoot place was rather obvious. We’ve got gorgeous weather, not many disturbing tourists and plenty of time to explore small and smaller pretty corners of the city. Shooting two people with such a big difference of skin tones is quite a challenge, but after photographing their engagement last year I got some practice and I was quite confident that this time around it is going to be just fine!
Julie & Dries chose Kasteel van Moerkerke in Brugge for their wedding venue. A very charming castle that perfectly fit to their personality and guests. I loved the details on the table, for everyone there was a small bottle of cava decorated with a thank you note, together with the style of the menu it gave a Gatsby feel.
