Golden hours in Belgium are a rare exclusivity that only chosen can enjoy. We felt like this on this May evening. It was hot, it smelled freshly cut grass, families were strolling without rush, it was blissful. We met in Rouge Cloitre area in the south of Brussels. Me and my husband are often there to walk our dog Roxy and I always wanted to shoot there a romantic session, just after I witnessed for the first time golden light there. I said to my husband that this would a perfect spot for a couple in love.
When Nigela & Nick contacted me that they are coming to Brussels to visit their family (they live in London), I though that I have opportunity to shoot in Rouge Cloitre with them, it would be perfect. We talked about their coming wedding, while we walked passed grass fields, vintage buildings and colorful bushes of May flowers. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and can’t wait for your wedding Nigela & Nick!
