I was looking for a perfect wedding blog to feature this shoot. It’s one of the most beautiful sessions light-wise I have ever shot. I was browsing trough the internet and found this gorgeous blog – Festival Brides! I thought: this is it! It’s just ideal! I was completely overwhelmed when the ladies agreed to feature it on their site. Here is what they wrote:
Sent across the channel by the Kasia Bacq, a Belgium photographer whose style I have completely fallen in love with, and featuring the gorgeous Anna and Kirill, this shoot epitomises everything I love about engagement shoots. The location, the style, the romance and love between two people. Kasia has captured it all so beautifully and has used the surrounding countryside to not only bring out Anna and Kirill’s individual personalities but also their obvious love for each other. It’s perfect.
And a few words from the model herself:
I discovered Kasia’s work when I saw an advertisement on Facebook for an engagement session giveaway that she organized. I loved her style and the tones of her pictures which looked a little bit film like. As I am a film photographer myself, it’s quite a challenge for me to find a photographer whose work I really like!
After enjoying scrolling through Kasia’s work, I applied to her contest and even though I didn’t have a lot of hope because usually I’m not a good winner, I was surprised to discover that we were among the «chosen ones». It was so exciting!
I’m grateful to Kasia for this giveaway, me and my husband had such a great time and we loved the pictures! It was a beautiful day.
This is the place to say: I am grateful! For beautiful models, on the outside and inside and for certain people in the industry, like Laura from Festival Brides.
