When I stepped out from the car just right to the mud puddle in front of Château de la Hulpe that Saturday, I didn’t have best provisions for this wedding. It was drizzling and the wind was sharp as a razor. I felt really sorry for the couple…but all in all it turned out again how fast Belgian weather changes. The ceremony had to be held indoors because of the rain, nevertheless it was magical and very moving. By the time second course was served, the sky cleared out and we had few moments to shoot in golden light. We made it and it was brilliant!
Anne & Mitchel, even though you live beyond the big water (New York, hell yeah!), you decided to get married in Belgium, in the middle of summer with unpredictable weather. Let’s drink to that! You both looked incredibly radiant and sooo in love. Thank you for having me there!
This wedding was primarily shot by a great Anais Stoelen, I was her second shooter that day.
